Walmart World is an essential tool in connecting Walmart associates to share ideas, promote successes and influence change to create advocacy across stores and in communities. We humanized the brand by celebrating employees and recognizing their achievements.

We gathered stories nationwide through our Story Corps program. Story Corps is the engine to develop content for print, video and social.

The program is also the center point to rally associate social ambassadors who in turn generate over millions of impressions for the brand through activations communicated thorough the Walmart World ecosystem. At the same time, we worked with employees to give them the tools to create content for their local store Instagram Stories, which in turn gave people another avenue not only for creative expression but also for personal career advancement.

Walmart World Magazine is the anchor for the entire Walmart World program with over a million readers each issue.

We empowered the stores to run multiple social platforms, equipped them with the training and tools to succeed, and watched them build trusting relationships in their local communities. Local store followers outnumber the national channel, which is great because customers can conveniently shop through our pages. Our nation-wide influencer program supports local social with regular training, visits, and content planning.
